Asenium is hiring Senior Backend Developers with expertise in Node. js , Java , or Python for a hybrid position based in Lisbon.

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid – 2 to 3 days onsite per week)

Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions.

Integrate
- party services and APIs into existing systems.

Collaborate closely with
- end developers, product managers, and Dev
Ops teams.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and provide timely solutions.

Follow best practices in software development and Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

6+ years of professional experience in backend development.

Proven expertise in at least one of the following: Node. js , Java , or Python.

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs , microservices architecture , and SQL/No
SQL databases.

Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Portuguese is a plus.
