We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our team, ideally an experienced professional passionate about Java development, cloud technologies, and microservices .

Location: Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid – 1 day/week
- site)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Work with Kubernetes and Docker to ensure efficient container orchestration
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to define and deliver microservice solutions
• Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily
  - ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and security

Profile Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java and strong
  - on expertise in Spring Boot
• Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Practical experience with Kubernetes
• Strong skills in API design and RESTful services
• Previous experience working in Agile development environments
