Tech client, an Equity/Share Management platform, is on a mission to become the leading shares management business in the world-and they are building a
- new Lisbon Tech Hub to make it happen! As part of this exciting expansion, they are assembling an initial team of three Engineers and one QA to drive innovation forward.

The Role: As a Back-End Developer, you'll play a crucial role in the hands-on development of their Incentive Platform. You'll contribute by designing and maintaining APIs, developing new features, and modernizing legacy components to support their transition toward a microservice-oriented architecture. Expect to build scalable, secure, and
- performance applications in their Azure cloud environment, working with
- edge technologies like Java, Spring Framework, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server, Git
Hub, and Terraform.

What They're Looking For:

• 
  

  Experience building applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot

• 
  

  Expertise in designing, documenting, and implementing APIs (internal & public)

• 
  

  Familiarity with microservice-oriented architecture and its advantages

• 
  

  Strong understanding of security and performance considerations

• 
  

  Experience building cloud-native applications

• 
  

  Knowledge of Dev
  Ops best practices (Git
  Ops, CI/CD pipelines)

• 
  

  Ability to contribute to technical design and planning discussions

• 
  

  Professional-level English proficiency

Nice to Have:

• 
  

  Type
  Script or another JVM language

• 
  

  Public cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

  Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CDK, Pulumi)
