Backend Developer Lisboa

We are looking for an experienced backend engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable services.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using. NET (C#).
• Implement event‑driven systems and microservices, integrating with third‑party APIs and internal systems.
• Build and manage high‑volume data streaming solutions for real‑time processing.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deploying applications in Kubernetes across Azure and on‑premises environments.
• Ensure backend services are resilient, scalable, and optimized for performance and cost‑efficiency.
• Write and maintain comprehensive tests, perform code reviews, and participate in test automation practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design and API specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend development with. NET and C#.
• Knowledge of Java
  Script/Type
  Script (Node. js) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of microservices, event‑driven architectures, and building scalable systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure services (Event Hub, Service Bus, API Management, Cosmos DB) and open‑source alternatives.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and Dev
  Ops practices (Azure Dev
  Ops, Git
  Hub Actions, Git
  Lab CI).
• Experience in designing scalable backend architectures and implementing comprehensive testing strategies.
• Strong technical documentation skills and ability to perform thorough code reviews.
