We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the Celfocus team in Portugal. As part of an IT squad, you will contribute to the development and deployment of

Responsibilities

• Java backend developments (Spring Boot).
• Solution designs using AWS and microservices.
• Frontend development activities, if required.
• Delivering using agile practices, in sprints and in accordance with the Product Owner and the team’s backlog and sprint stories.
• Deploying using Dev
  Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 5+ years of
  - on experience in Java development and proficiency in the latest editions of Java, including expertise in Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Microservices architecture, and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in frontend technologies like React. js or Angular is a strong plus.
• Experience in Node
  Js and Postgre
  SQL database is a plus.
• Solid grasp of security best practices related to APIs and data privacy.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to driving Agile practices within the team.
• Comfortable with Dev
  Ops practices involving configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, Ia
  C, deployment patterns among others.
• Proficiency in English (B2+) is a must.
• Availability to work onsite 2 days per week, in Lisbon or Oporto.
