Role Overview

We are looking for a backend developer responsible for building microservices in Golang. This includes developing complex backend services and APIs. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these services, and to coordinate with the team working on different infrastructure layers. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.

What You Will Do

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Go code
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of services
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Who You Are

• Proficient in Go
• Solid understanding of
  - oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Skilled at writing reusable Go modules
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Go
• Experience with AWS, Redis, SQL, and Elastic
  Search is a plus
• Ability to write clean, readable Go code
• Experience with external and embedded databases
• Strong understanding of HTTP and API design principles, including REST and Graph
  QL
• Understanding of scalable application design principles
• Experience creating database schemas supporting business processes
• Implementing automated testing and unit tests
• Proficient with version control tools like Git
• Familiar with continuous integration
• Experience with frontend technologies like Angular is a plus, though this is primarily a backend role
