What You'll Do

As a Back End Engineer at Droxi, you’ll take on a pivotal role within our team, with significant responsibilities and opportunities to make a real impact. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Design
  - native
  - Own the architecture of scalable,
  - tolerant
  - end systems on AWS—think
  - tenant,
  - region,
  - availability.
• Build Python the right
  - Write clean, idiomatic,
  - tested Python 3. x; leverage async,
  - hints, and modern packaging to keep our services lean and maintainable.
• Run on Kubernetes-Containerize, deploy, and operate
  - services on our EKS clusters, automating infra with Terraform.
• Shape the
  - Drive design reviews, champion best practices in distributed systems, observability, security, and cost optimisation.
• Engage with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver scalable, impactful solutions.
• Own
  -
  - end
  - From RFC to rolling deploy—monitor, debug, and continuously improve the services you ship.

Requirements

Who you are

• 5+ years of professional Python experience building production systems (asyncio/Fast
  API, pytest).
• Strong knowledge of Back-End Development, Software Development, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Proven
  - design chops—you can
  - board complex,
  - driven architectures, reason about CAP
  - offs, and model data for scale and performance.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Dev-excellence mindset—clean git history, CI/CD pipelines, observability (Prometheus/Grafana, Open
  Telemetry), automated testing, and code reviews.
• Strong
  - solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

It’s great if you have also: Relevant skills and qualifications in cloud computing, healthcare systems, and AI technologies are highly beneficial.
