Backend Engineer

Responsibilities And Duties

• Design, build, and maintain
  - side applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and
  
  
  

• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and improvements;
• Drive best practices in code quality, security, and testing across the development lifecycle;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems proactively and effectively;
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously drive innovation within the
  
  
  

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar engineering role within a crossfunctional team environment;
• Proficient in Kotlin for backend development;
• Solid
  - on experience with Spring Boot and Ktor frameworks for building robust, scalable services;
• Solid
  - on experience with SQL and relational databases, including optimization and schema
  
  
  

• Familiarity with REST API design principles, microservices architectures, and
  - based services
  
  
  

• Comfortable working within an Agile development environment, embracing incremental delivery and
  
  
  

• Strong
  - solving and analytical skills, with a sharp eye for debugging and performance tuning;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex
