Mov. ai is the robotics engine platform that empowers users to implement, share, deploy, and remotely operate robotic behaviors. Our mission is to become the standard runtime for companies that deploy fleets of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) to automate repetitive warehouse tasks.

Position overview:

We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Runtime and Backend Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the runtime and backend components of our framework that orchestrates and executes robotic behaviors. These components are the core of our platform, allowing you to make an immediate impact on both our company's and our customers' success.

You should feel comfortable working with
- critical systems and able to design components of the Mov. ai platform with reduced impact.

You will work in a
- disciplinary environment, where software and robotics meet, and ideas from different areas are the foundation of the success.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop highly performant runtime and
  - side logic components of our framework.
• Support the runtime of the framework where all the intensive processes of robot behavior will be executed.
• Design and optimize distributed database architectures and relational database architectures.
• Optimizing the performance of runtime and
  - side sections of the framework for
  - scale production deployments
• Providing code documentation and test coverage on all developments.
• Writing clean, scalable & efficient code.
• Following agile processes with a focus on delivering
  - ready testable code in small iterations.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python, with additional knowledge in backend programming languages such as C++ and Rust being highly valued.
• Strong understanding of distributed and relational databases.
• Experience with
  - critical systems and the ability to evolve architectures with reduced impact.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• BSc in computer science or a comparable course of studies
• Experience with object oriented design patterns, data structures, and multithreaded architectures
• Comfortable with containerization.
• Capabilities to challenge the status quo and thrive for innovation
• Strong sense of organization, accountability and responsibility
• Proactive,

• Proficiency in English & Portuguese
• (Extra) Knowledge of ROS
• (Extra) Previous experience with Robotics
