What You’ll Do

• Lead with Technical Excellence: Drive backend architecture and implementation across Python and Go microservices. Write clean, performant code while guiding key system design decisions.
• Architect and Scale Data-Driven Backend Systems: Design and optimize
  - scale data systems powering workflows, policy engines, analytics, and automation features.
• Own Reliability, Security, and Performance: Ensure backend services meet
  - grade standards for quality, observability, access control, and scalability.
• Grow and Mentor the Engineering Team: Lead a group of backend and data engineers. Conduct code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and foster a culture of technical rigor.
• Collaborate Across the Product Lifecycle: Work closely with Product, UX, Dev
  Sec
  Ops, and Frontend teams to deliver features that are reliable,
  - friendly, and intuitive.
• Backend Engineering Expertise: 5+ years designing and building backend Saa
  S applications, ideally with Python and Go experience with a
  - centric approach.
• Product & Platform Mindset: You’ve owned backend product roadmaps and can translate user needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Cloud-Native Proficiency: Experience building distributed backend services on AWS or similar (Lambda, ECS, Dynamo
  DB/Postgres, API Gateway, queues, event systems).
• Team Leadership: Previous experience leading backend or
  - functional engineering teams, coaching, growing engineers, setting standards.
• Distributed Data Systems Knowledge: Experience with Postgres, Click
  House, Kafka, Redis, or similar
  - throughput storage and messaging technologies.
• System Design Strength: Comfortable with designing modular API boundaries, microservices, workflow orchestration, and secure

  S systems.

  Ops Knowledge: Experience with Dev

  Ops workflows, Ia
  C (Terraform/CDK/Bicep), RBAC, policy engines or enterprise customer deployments.
• You will shape the core architecture of the platform.
