Description:

Project information / tasks:

Administration of the Backup Service, which includes managing the Veritas Net
Backup product (versions 8, 9, and 10), Ops
Center, IT Analytics, SAN Switches, Windows and Linux operating systems, IBM and Quantum robots, and Data
Domain VTLs.

Installation, maintenance, upgrades, updates, debugging, and troubleshooting issues and failures.

Providing customer support and resolving client service requests.

Reporting, capacity management, automation, scripting, and other activities related to service maintenance.

Necessary

MUST HAVE:

Knowledge of backup technologies Veritas Net
Backup (v8, v9, and v10).

Knowledge of IBM and Quantum robots and Data
Domain VTLs.

Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

NICE TO HAVE:

Certifications in relevant Backup technologies.

Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Experience with scripting (e. g. , Bash, Power
Shell, Python).

Years of experience in these skills: 5

Authorized teleworking: Hybrid (Lisboa): estimate 70% remote and 30% in person

Need to travel: No

Required languages: Portuguese, English & Other languages (nice to have)
