Backup Engineer Expert
(The position is open in Portugal and in France)

- functional business solutions at an international level. Working across various AXA companies, AXA Group Operations has a global presence with offices in several countries.
ENVIRONMENT
This resource will join a team of IT professionals involved in delivery and maintenance activities within the shared services team of AXA Group.
The role will be integrated into product support teams, working closely with local and global teams covering:
- Management of systems, databases, and networks
- Application maintenance and support
- IPC process management
- Project management
- Qo
S and governance
The main activities include:
- IT Infrastructure support for AXA Business and Development teams
Technical activities:
- Production support and IT Service delivery
- Support development & maintenance of AXA Applications
These teams oversee the product lifecycle, from studies to final delivery and ongoing maintenance. The key drivers are Innovation and Execution, which will propel the Operations teams:

- Execution: Enabling teams worldwide to realize their ideas and fulfill our commitments to customers

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an experienced IT Production Consultant, the candidate will join an existing technical team and will be responsible for:
- Managing Backup platforms
- Participating as an expert in future backup solution projects
- Installing, upgrading, and maintaining platforms
- Monitoring production and resolving technical incidents
- Monitoring and reporting on backups in coordination with Manage Services
- Analyzing and documenting production processes accurately
- Supporting Incident, Problem, and Change Management in an enterprise environment, providing 3rd level support
- Improving system stability and performance
- Creating and updating operational and implementation guidelines and documentation
- Implementing Standard Work Requests using Service
Now - Troubleshooting incidents in technical areas
- Developing scripts for automation and batch processing in collaboration with development teams
- Supporting and monitoring services on production servers
- Writing technical documentation according to internal standards
Votre Profil
PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must Have:
- Cloud knowledge: Security, Networking, AWS, Azure
- Commvault solutions
- IBM Spectrum Protect V8 or later expertise
- Net
App skills are a plus - Knowledge of CMX archiving tool is a plus
- Scripting skills, especially Korn shell; Power
Shell is a plus - Strong understanding of IT and Datacenter infrastructure architectures
- Minimum 3 years experience in a backup environment
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware
- Good reporting skills
- Prioritize security: audits, vulnerability remediation, patch support
- Ensure service levels meet requirements and propose actions when needed
- Work with project teams to define scope and troubleshoot backup jobs across platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Windows, VMware, UNIX)
Non-Technical Skills:
- Autonomous with teamwork spirit and

- oriented - Capable of working in dynamic,
- structured global organizations - Upper intermediate English proficiency is required
- French/Dutch language skills are appreciated

- Ability to operate within guidelines, policies, procedures, and execute instructions independently

- Ability to travel or relocate within Europe for short periods
