Join our team as a Backup Service Administrator (Hybrid - Lisbon)!

What You'll Do:

• Administer the Backup Service, managing Veritas Net
  Backup (v8, v9, and v10), Ops
  Center, IT Analytics, SAN Switches, IBM and Quantum robots, and Data
  Domain VTLs .
• Perform installation, maintenance, upgrades, updates, debugging, and troubleshooting issues and failures.
• Provide customer support and resolve client service requests.
• Accurately document all requests and applied solutions.
• Monitor system performance and ensure backup service reliability.
• Manage reporting, capacity planning, automation, and scripting for service optimization.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to find the best solutions.
• Understand and correctly apply escalation processes.
• Handle multiple requests simultaneously (multi-tasking).
• Contribute to process optimization and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with backup technologies, particularly Veritas Net
  Backup (v8, v9, and v10) .
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience working with IBM and Quantum robots and Data
  Domain VTLs .

Nice-to-Have:

• Certifications in relevant backup technologies.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems .
• Experience with scripting (Bash, Power
  Shell, Python) .
