Banking Sector | Release Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a new Release Manager to join our banking team! The mission is to maintain and evolve the engines of diffusion EPE & CVA, working in a project mode within an Agile environment. You will also work on various corrective and evolutionary maintenance tasks as part of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure monitoring and management of application releases and coordinate with IT Risks, Business Analysts, and Management team in Paris.
- Design, implement, and maintain reliable infrastructures and tools for application development and deployment, configuring and monitoring production environments for availability and performance.
- Promote a collaborative environment between development and operational teams throughout the application lifecycle, applying agile methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
- Develop scripts to automate operational tasks, establish CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot issues, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Possess a deep understanding of
- oriented programming and the application runtime environment (process, memory). - Be familiar with Dev
Ops concepts. - Utilize development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Control-M, XL Deploy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience with

- end release management processes, including planning, deployment, and
- release evaluation. - Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git
Lab CI/CD, Azure Dev
Ops, or similar. - Proficiency in version control systems like Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
- Strong collaboration skills across
- functional teams including developers, testers, and business stakeholders. - Excellent communication skills for presenting release plans, schedules, and status updates.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Power
Shell for automation. - Experience with change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of releases.
- Ability to assess risks and impacts of releases.
- Technical knowledge in Java, Angular, Spring, C++, Linux, SQL, Hadoop.
