A Banqueting Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Conference and Banqueting operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while ensuring department targets are met.

What will I be doing?

As a Banqueting Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of Conference and Banqueting operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also set budgets and provide leadership to ensure targets are met. Specifically, your responsibilities include:

• Oversee and manage all Banqueting operations
• Be present at events and ensure all setups are executed timely
• Maintain exceptional customer service levels
• Ensure compliance with brand standards
• Evaluate guest satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement
• Stay informed of trends and propose ideas to enhance Conference and Banquet offerings
• Optimize sales and control costs, identifying areas for action
• Set achievable budgets and

• Lead the Banqueting team to meet and exceed targets, fostering development
• Conduct communication meetings and generate

• Manage staff performance issues per company policies
• Recruit, train, and manage the Banqueting team

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service industry
• Proven success in Conference and Beverage management, delivering profit, controlling costs, and building customer loyalty
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong leadership abilities to create a winning team

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in Conference and Banquet Operations in a managerial role within a hotel or Events Centre
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service
