About the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Continuity Manager to join our financial technology company. This role extends beyond traditional continuity planning to include IT risk management,
- party oversight, and
- functional responsibilities that support operational resilience, information security, and regulatory compliance, including FINMA and DORA requirements.

What you'll do
Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Lead the development, maintenance, and improvement of the Business Continuity and Crisis Management framework
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and planning with stakeholders
- Align recovery capabilities with service criticality, leveraging
- native, distributed, and hybrid infrastructure - Coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery exercises
- Report to senior management with recommendations
- Work with internal and external audits to maintain ISO 22301:2019 certification and comply with regulatory changes
- Manage BCM policies and strategies
- Review
- party documentation, onboarding, renewals, and exit plans - Assess ICT service providers per FINMA and DORA regulations
- Ensure documentation, control evidence, and risk assessments are complete and compliant
- Collaborate with various departments in the
- party risk lifecycle - Define and report on Key Risk Indicators
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Continuity, Risk, Information Security, or Operational Resilience, preferably in Fin
Tech or financial services - Strong understanding of FINMA, DORA, ISO 22301, GDPR frameworks
- Familiarity with IT risk management, cloud infrastructure,
- party oversight, and information security fundamentals - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with GRC or internal control systems
