We are looking for a talented BI Consultant to join our international team and work on several of our international projects. Role Overview:We are seeking a BI Consultant, who has the combined (technical and functional) skill set to thrive and succeed in this international role. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with client staff at all
- Work with customers to understand and capture business processes, decision requirements and BI
- Create detailed specifications documents based on client,
- Define innovative analytical approaches and metrics strategy to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve productivity and better understand the impacts of business
- Develop/document technical architecture, system design, performance test results and other technical aspects of solution
- Understand required data, where it resides and their underlying structure to transform through SQL
- Build
- dimensional data models and schemes per customer
- Leverage tools in BI product stack to create compelling data visualizations and
- Communicate the results efficiently to both technical and
- technical
- Transfer knowledge successfully to clients through formal presentations and informal training, in both business and/or technical
- Develop accurate project plans and manage client expectations regarding the delivery of products/services- Manage tasks to execute project deliverables on time and according to plan, and accurately report progress, obstacles and successes throughout development milestones**Essential Skills**:
- Bachelor/Master in a field that emphasizes data analysis and visualization (Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Engineering or Statistics), or equivalent work
- 1 - 2 years of Business Intelligence/Report Development
- Familiarity with Power BI / Power Query / DAX- Working knowledge of MS SQL- stored procedures, views, functions, tables, indexes, ETL/SSIS- Exceptional ability to understand complex business requirements, and convert them into meaningful and engaging
- Strong communication and organizational
- Strong desire for continuous growth and development
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization in SQL
- Other RDB Experience - Oracle, My
SQL, Aurora- Python proficiency is a
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
