Data Administrator

Profile description

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field;
• Previous professional experience as a Big Data Administrator or in similar roles;
• Strong expertise in Hadoop Ecosystem and Data Lake operations;
• Hands‑on experience with Big Data services and query engines (e. g. , Hive, Spark, Presto);
• Knowledge of monitoring, automation, and platform lifecycle management for Big Data environments;
• Ability to diagnose and solve complex issues in Big Data platforms;
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills;
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and high‑performance Big Data infrastructures;
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams;
• Relevant Big Data certifications (Hadoop, Spark, etc. ) are a plus;
• Knowledge of ITIL practices is valued;
• Good command of English;
• French language skills are a plus.

Mandatory requirement

• Living in Portugal or holding legal authorization to reside in Portugal.
