ABOUT THE ROLE:

Basis is looking for a Billing Specialist to join an international dynamic team. The position is located in Lisbon (Portugal).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and prepare invoices and credit notes, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing data.
• Maintain accurate and complete billing records and reports.
• Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax and financial regulations and policies.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and other stakeholders.
• Keep master data records accurate and up to date.
• Ensure all workflows are duly complied with on a timely basis.

YOU’LL BRING:

• University Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent.
• +3 years of relevant billing or related experience in a similar role in an international environment (experience in telecom is a plus).
• Strong analytical,
  - solving skills, organization, and extreme attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook.
• Tax compliance knowledge is a plus.
• SAP and/or other similar accounting software experience is a plus.
• English language skills are mandatory, and Spanish and/or French is a plus.
