Position: Billing System Analyst
This role serves as the primary Managed Service interface for incidents, service requests, change requests, and event management between CSG and a major Managed Service client. It ensures effective communication between the client and our support and delivery teams for CSG software operations. Responsibilities include system monitoring, technical incident triage, ticket management, and communication.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform technical incident triage across CSG products such as Ascendon, Xponent, DPM, and Quote and Order.
- Communicate with customers through ITSM tools, phone, review meetings, and escalation bridges.
- Manage tickets (incidents, service requests, change requests) via the ITSM tool.
- Monitor and adhere to SLAs.
- Handle alerting and monitoring activities.
- Manage escalated tickets with high priority or nearing SLA breaches.
- Participate in Major Incident Management.
- Produce performance reports for review.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience with system monitoring, ITSM tools, and
- facing roles. - Ability to triage and engage with customers and technical teams.
- Experience with monitoring tools, scripts (shell/Perl), and email alerts.
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux and databases like Oracle or My
SQL. - Strong communication skills, including reporting and proficiency in Power
Point. - Ability to communicate technical issues to stakeholders at various levels.
- Willingness to work standard hours with
- call duties on a rotation.
