T data generated from rail assets, gaining valuable insights and optimizing systems. We are seeking an experienced BIM Specialist to join our team in Amadora, Lisboa, Portugal.

At Siemens Mobility, the key to success in the signaling industry is efficient collaboration. The BIM Specialist will be responsible for managing the use cases and deliverables related to the BIM methodology on the project, developing
- specific BIM documentation, and contributing during the tender phase on new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Define the objectives and use cases applied to the project.
• Develop and maintain
  - specific BIM documentation such as the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Manage the BIM delivery plan as well as the MIDP.
• Perform quality review of BIM implementation to the project.
• Periodically audit projects to ensure compliance with BIM requirements, standards, and templates.
• Ensure that construction project information is properly updated with information from Installation, Testing and Commissioning phases.
• Define and ensure compliance with coordination and collaboration workflows between different internal and external teams.
• Ensure compliance with the standards defined according to ISO 19650 for project information management.
• Identify and recommend improvement opportunities for processes and workflows based on BIM work methodology.
• Plan and supervise training related to BIM methodology.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager the BIM strategy to be carried out on the project.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager the implementation status of the activities as well as the different deliverables.
• Monitor budget adherence and take actions to minimize
  - conformance costs where applicable.
• Ensure the use of the Common Data Environment (CDE) on the project as the document management tool.
• Collaborate during tender phase understanding customer BIM requirements.

What we’re looking for / Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in a technical area related to construction or infrastructures.
• Desirable Master/Training in BIM Management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as BIM Specialist on projects.
• Familiarity with BIM modelling processes.
• Familiarity with Autodesk and Bentley software ecosystem (Revit, Navisworks, Recap, Auto
  CAD, Micro
  Station, Open
  Rail Designer, i
  Model, Synchro Pro).
• Excellent IT skills.
• Great verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Extensive knowledge of quality and document management processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 and related digitalization standards.
• Familiarity with the Level of Information Need (LOIN) specified for BIM results.
