Building Area Manager Portugal - SI Buildings (m/f/d)
Overview
Building Area Manager Portugal - SI Buildings (m/f/d) at Siemens. The role reports to the Lead Country Spain and is responsible for driving sustainable growth and profitability through multichannel sales approaches in the Buildings sector in Portugal. The successful candidate will implement strategic business guidelines and develop the Portuguese market through direct and indirect sales channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Portuguese market presence through effective multichannel sales strategies
- Drive sustainable business growth across products, software, and services through direct and indirect sales channels
- Manage and expand partner networks and distribution channels in Portugal
- Ensure achievement of financial targets and optimal market penetration
- Implement and execute sales strategies aligned with regional and global objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and distributors
- Lead and implement LCB transformation initiatives and strategic guidelines in the area
- Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with local regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business development
- Proven track record in multichannel sales management, particularly in indirect channel development
- Proven track record in managing a team
- Demonstrated experience in building technologies or related industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of the Portuguese building and construction market
- Experience in partner network development and management
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work in complex matrix organizations
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
