Business & Market Analyst at Körber
As a Business and Market Analyst at Körber Business Area Supply Chain, you will play a key role in providing data‑driven insights and business intelligence. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining performance metrics, analysing market trends, and providing actionable recommendations to support leadership in achieving strategic goals and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis of market trends, competitor strategies, customer behaviour, and industry developments.
- Identify strategic growth and efficiency opportunities through data‑driven analysis.
- Gather and synthesize data from multiple sources, including market research, competitor intelligence, and internal datasets, to identify patterns and trends.
- Develop clear and compelling reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide actionable insights that directly support business decisions in product development, marketing strategies, and long‑term planning.
- Continuously monitor industry news, market conditions, and competitor activities to anticipate opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in marketing, sales, product development, and beyond to ensure alignment with market intelligence insights.
- Use data visualization tools to translate complex information into understandable and impactful formats.
- Maintain and update databases to ensure relevant and accurate market intelligence is always accessible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in market research, business analysis, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with data analysis tools, methodologies, and visualization software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with figures, statistics, and mathematical concepts.
- Proven ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presenting complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Solid understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
- Experience working in an industrial, project‑based environment (preferred).
- Comfortable working across international, cross‑functional teams.
- Familiarity with warehouse automation and the parcel industry is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
