Overview

Role: IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Understand and communicate integration concepts, such as APIs, service buses, and messaging systems
• Perform business requirement mapping for technical components (e. g. , APIs)
• Document interface requirements for each project/release and maintain updates throughout the lifecycle
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to clarify requirements and support during testing phases

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in an IT/technical environment
• Solid understanding of the insurance business domain
• Proficient with business analysis techniques and tools, including user stories, use cases, wireframes, UML, BPMN, etc.
• Hands-on experience with API design, and evaluating service catalogs against business needs
• General understanding of ESB, API integration, and middleware solutions
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, including defining objects and assessing impact from new integration requirements
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Testing experience (previous or current) is a plus
• Proficiency in Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello)
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently in a dynamic environment
