? We are looking for a Business Analyst
This position is part of a newly established IT department focused on
- financial risk management. The team brings together professionals from various locations and backgrounds, all dedicated to minimizing operational risks within the organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing requirements from meetings with operational control teams and the central risk function. The goal is to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business needs, which will then be translated into technical specifications for IT development teams. These specifications will guide the creation or enhancement of digital tools to automate and monitor risk controls.
MAIN TASKS:
- Design robust technical solutions that align with organizational architecture standards and current technology platforms, including evaluating new technologies to improve product offerings.
- Streamline and optimize business processes, systems, and workflows to enhance automation and efficiency.
- Support the development of new platforms while maintaining the integrity of existing production systems.
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial design and estimation to detailed planning, development management, testing, and delivery.
- Advance projects independently or by leading offshore development teams, providing mentorship and managing resources according to budget and timelines.
- Collaborate with other business analysts and project managers to contribute to analysis activities and maintain clear communication with business stakeholders.
- Monitor progress, report on status, and escalate issues as needed to ensure transparency and effective risk management.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:
- Background in IT, project management, or business analysis.
- Ability to consolidate information and present concise updates to senior stakeholders.
- Self-management and initiative in
- solving. - Experience working with global teams and coordinating across different regions.
- Familiarity with application deployment, release management, and environment configuration
- Strong verbal communication skills, able to interact effectively with both technical and
- technical teams across multiple locations. - Well-organized, methodical, and proactive approach.
- Quick to build relationships and receptive to diverse perspectives.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines, with flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Hybrid role in Lisbon
