Emagine is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join a
- term assignment with one of our international clients in the financial services sector. This is a strategic opportunity to bridge the gap between business and technology, working within an Agile development environment to translate business needs into actionable insights and user stories, with a strong focus on data management.

The selected professional will work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring alignment between business goals and data management practices.

Your main responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and
- functional requirements.

Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

Work directly with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily
- ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Support backlog grooming and prioritization in collaboration with the Product Owner.

Analyze and document data flows, data models, and data quality requirements.

Ensure that business goals are aligned with data management practices.

You bring:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Experience in data management, including governance, quality, and metadata management.

Ability to write clear and comprehensive user stories and technical documentation.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and data modeling tools.

Experience with data platforms, data lakes, or enterprise data warehouses is an advantage.

Knowledge of SQL or data querying tools is a plus.

Agile certification (e. g. , Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.

Fluency in English.

Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
