Overview

Business, Data Analytics and Insights Senior Associate at Amgen. This role is based at AMGEN Capability Center Portugal in Lisbon city center and involves partnering with Commercial leadership to provide
- backed insights for driving commercial success.

What You Will Do

• Act as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, delivering forecasting, budgeting and planning reports, data analysis, and support for wider Business Units within the ACCP.
• Understand business drivers to create, maintain, and update patient and
  - based forecasts and scenarios.
• Contribute to regular forecast cycles including
  - range and
  - term forecasts.
• Perform
  - depth data analysis to build robust assumptions, scenarios, and forecast inputs.
• Present and defend forecast approaches, methodologies, assumptions, and outputs in team discussions.
• Collect feedback and prepare communication plans to share outputs.
• Take ownership of complex calculations by understanding inputs and their relationships to the problem.
• Support ACCP continuous improvement activities.
• Support wider business units on an ad hoc basis (Finance/FP&A/Business Enablement).

Proven experience and skills needed:

• University Degree in commerce, finance, economics, mathematics, healthcare or related field.
• 3+ years working in a finance/data related field ideally Data and Analytics.
• Forecasting and Modelling experience.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.
• Strong Excel knowledge.

Preferred requirements:

• Working knowledge of IS systems (including demonstrated capability with MS Office applications, SQL, Hyperion Pillar, Tableau, Anaplan).
• Demonstrates a
  - minded attitude.
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
• Clearly explains processes and procedures.
• Fluency in multiple European languages.
