Position Summary

Business Developer Portugal (all genders) in Lisbon. You will play a critical role in helping Q ENERGY scale its photovoltaic (PV), battery energy storage system (BESS), and wind power plant projects in Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Develop alliances with local partners and lead them (land agents, environmental and engineering consultants).
• Serve as the point‑of‑contact for officers and politicians within the relevant administration and build personal relationships with them.
• Supervise developers or co‑developers performance during the permitting process.
• Attend node meetings and promote necessary actions for project development.
• Support CU on the preparation of NTP IC.
• Update IC FM assumptions of secured projects, permitting process schedule, budget and cash‑flow when needed.
• Manage guarantees issuance, deposit, and return related to development and permitting process.
• Lead improvement of project score in potential capacity tender requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Development or a related field.
• Over 7 years of professional experience in the energy sector as a business developer in relation with the Renewables Energy field.
• Strong knowledge in working with MS tools.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, project managers, and external contractors.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a detail‑oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in both English and Portuguese is required; knowledge of any additional language is an advantage.
