JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Executive is responsible for acquiring new customers, developing existing relationships, and expanding our presence within key accounts. This role plays a vital part in identifying market opportunities, conducting strategic negotiations, and supporting
- term business growth. The ideal candidate brings significant experience in sales, account management, or marketing, with a proven track record of launching successful initiatives and managing complex customer relationships.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- sales support and promoting client retention and portfolio growth through upselling and complementary solutions; - Meet and, whenever possible, exceed the commercial performance targets set by the employer by adopting strategies that promote sustainable results;
- Conduct market analysis and research, monitor industry trends and competitor activities, and collect relevant customer feedback to continuously adjust commercial strategies;
- Ensure the preparation of detailed reports on sales activities, including performance metrics, using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools provided by the employer;
- Promote the employer’s image as a trusted market reference, ensuring excellence in service delivery and compliance with the required quality standards;
- Maintain the confidentiality of the employer’s commercial and strategic information, in accordance with legal provisions concerning the protection of personal and business data;
- Work closely with internal company teams, facilitating effective communication that contributes to the full execution of contractual obligations with clients;
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- The performance of the Business Development Executive will be assessed based on:
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Number of new clients onboarded and growth within existing accounts.
- Revenue Contribution: Achievement of sales targets and key account turnover goals.
- Strategic Execution: Successful implementation of market entry strategies and contribution to
- term planning. - Customer Relationship Management: Strength and quality of client engagement and issue resolution.
- Initiative & Collaboration: Proactivity in driving initiatives and working
- functionally on campaigns and events.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
- This role reports directly to the Head of Sales, with regular updates and collaboration with marketing and product functions as needed.
- To the Head of Sales: Provides regular reporting on account performance, customer insights, pipeline status, and sales forecasting.
- Cross-Functional Input: Shares market intelligence and feedback with Product and Marketing teams to align strategic direction and customer engagement efforts.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Any other tasks or requirements deemed necessary by the direct supervisor or top management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- 3-5 years prior B2B Sales experience
- Additional education, certifications, or experience is advantageous.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, organized approach to multitasking.
