Job Purpose:
Business Development for Cradlepoint (part of Ericsson) supports the vendor business lead to grow market share through business planning, pipeline management, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Engages with the Business Unit and acts in line with vendor strategy to develop business across countries.
- Supports strategy development and business growth ideas.
- Builds and maintains an accurate deal pipeline in the CRM system.
- Reports weekly on
- out activity, promotional performance, and pipeline status. - Assists in executing business and marketing plans.
- Identifies and addresses training opportunities for customers and sales teams.
- Acts as the escalation point for customer care issues.
- Communicates product info, pricing, offers, and promotions.
- Runs
- out days and engages with customers directly as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Experience as a Business Development Manager, with strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- 2+ years in the IT industry, with channel or vendor experience, ideally in sales or product marketing.
- Experience in services and solution selling, strategic planning, and business case development.
- Ability to create presentations, negotiate, and promote ideas effectively.
- Builds effective relationships and promotes organizational standards.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power
Point. - Experience with IT security vendors is a plus.
- High proficiency in English; additional EU languages are a plus.
