We’re looking for a Business Development Lead to own and scale our US outbound motion. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and people leadership. You’ll be responsible for:Leading and developing our BDR / Appointment Setter team

Team Leadership & Coaching
Lead, train, and mentor a team of BDRs focused on the US market
Run regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and coaching sessions
Set clear expectations around activity, quality, and results
Create a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement
Strategy & Execution
Own outbound strategy across cold calling, email, and Linked
In
Refine scripts, objection handling, and ICP targeting
Test, iterate, and improve messaging based on performance data
Partner closely with Sales, Ops, and Leadership to align goals
KPI Ownership & Reporting
Define, track, and own core KPIs (calls, connects, meetings booked, conversion rates, pipeline contribution)Analyze performance trends and take corrective action quickly
Ensure clean, accurate CRM usage (Hub
Spot) across the team
Report weekly on results, blockers, and improvement plans
Process & Scaling
Build repeatable processes that scale as the team grows
Improve onboarding and ramp timelines for new hires
Identify gaps in tooling, workflows, or training and propose solutions
Sales
Set Appointments: Secure qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives Outbound Prospecting: Use phone, email, and Linked
In to generate pipeline Tailored Messaging: Adjust outreach based on client needs and industries CRM Tracking: Log all activity and leads accurately in Hub
Spot
Who You Are
Experienced Leader: 4–7+ years in Business Development or Sales, with at least 2+ years leading BDR or SDR teams
US Market Expertise: Strong experience selling into US-based companies and working US hours
Hands-On Operator: You’ve carried a quota before and know what good looks like
Data-Driven: Comfortable owning KPIs, dashboards, and performance reviews
Strong Communicator: Clear, direct, and confident coaching others
Remote-Ready: Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage a distributed team
Builder Mindset: You enjoy creating structure where there isn’t much yet
Nice to Have
Experience in Saa
S, food delivery, marketplaces, or hospitality
Experience scaling
