The Business Development Lead will be in charge of the origination and business development of onshore projects in Portugal, reporting to the Country Manager.
The Green Recruitment Company is working with an Investment Fund with more than 80GW of projects under development to lead the Business Development activities in Portugal.
Responsibilities include:
- Negotiating
- development agreements. - Origination and acquisition of new projects.
- Conducting thorough feasibility studies, site assessments, and resource analyses to identify suitable project sites and assess their potential.
- Coordination and liaison with stakeholders.
- Ensuring budget compliance and managing deviations.
- Leading

- end project development activities for onshore wind greenfield projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. - Supervising contracts, risk management, quality assurance, and document and cost control.
- Arranging site visits and meetings while delivering excellent community engagement at each stage of a project.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business development of onshore projects.
- Experience in environmental and planning aspects of project development.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to work as part of a dynamic team, fostering a positive working environment.
- Fluency in English and availability to travel are required.
