About the Role
We are looking for Business Development Executives who are deal hunters, deal makers, originators and
- starters. You will develop and win new business in a complex consulting environment, delivering sophisticated technology solutions.
Skills and Experiences
- Experience selling across multiple solution areas (Apps & Infra, Modern Workplace, Biz Apps, Data & AI), preferably enterprise‑scale consulting engagements with global delivery.
- Experience with Microsoft and other partners to grow their book of business.
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and apply fast, effective solutions to remove roadblocks.
- Success as a Business Development Hunter with sophisticated closure capabilities.
- Acted as a trusted advisor addressing client business needs.
- Driving sales in a solutions‑selling environment at the C‑suite level.

What You'll Do
- Focus on one or more areas of expertise within Avanade’s Resources industry sector.
- Identify high‑potential transformation deals, leading and running entire sales cycles.
- Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new business with direct clients.
- Work closely with partners to drive new business.
- Build a pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts.
- Interact with Avanade’s new and current clients, gain referrals, and build trust relationships that open doors.
- Maintain knowledge of current market conditions, competing offerings, and service penetration.
