We seek bright, ambitious individuals to join us. Currently, we're looking for a talented Business Development Manager for the European Space and Defence markets in the Smart & Reliable Systems (SRS) division. Our reputation is built on delivering

The ideal candidate will be practical, disciplined, organized, and able to work independently on leads and accounts. Responsibilities include developing compelling business proposals, presenting to clients, and contributing to the division's strategic plans. You will have support from colleagues across Germany, UK, and Portugal.
Are you the dynamic Business Development Manager we're searching for?
What do we expect from you?
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the marketplace, focusing on key accounts, networking, events, and lead generation.
- Build relationships with stakeholders in the Space and Defence markets, especially in Europe.
- Generate sales from existing and new customers, research leads, and develop market strategies.
- Utilize social media platforms like Linked
In for networking. - Attend virtual and physical events to create leads.
- Follow up on new opportunities, develop relationships, and close deals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and capability demonstrations.
- Develop strategies to increase the business pipeline in Europe.
What makes you a good candidate for this role?
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years experience in business development of customized services and solutions.
- Experience in the Defence or Space markets is required.
- Interest in
- critical systems and software development. - Experience in strategic account management and deal development.
- Contract management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop relationships and network independently.
- Excellent English skills; German skills are desirable.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the EU.
