I’m currently with an industry leader in smart charging technology, who is currently driving the transition to smarter, cleaner transport and energy across Europe. Their platform connects EVs, energy providers, and
- users through intelligent charging technology, and they’re now looking to grow their footprint in Portugal.

As part of this next growth phase, they’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead B2B sales across the Portuguese market. This role is all about building relationships, developing partnerships, and expanding access to
- edge EV charging solutions through installer networks, distributors, and automotive partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and close commercial partnerships with key players in the EV ecosystem (installers, wholesalers, car dealerships, etc. )
• Manage a pipeline of prospects and own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation
• Achieve revenue targets for hardware sales and software subscriptions
• Identify opportunities to upsell and
  - sell across product lines
• Attend industry events and represent the brand to build awareness and grow your network
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to shape local strategy
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, feeding back insights to improve product and service offerings

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in the EV, energy, or tech sectors
• Self-starter with the drive to generate leads and open new markets
• Strong
  - building and communication skills, you know how to start a conversation and make it count
• Comfortable managing a pipeline and using CRM tools consistently
• Passionate about sustainability,
  - mobility, and the energy transition
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required
• Based in Portugal, with occasional travel across Europe
