Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will lead the growth of the company's crypto‑payment processing business by identifying, qualifying, and closing new merchant opportunities—primarily within high‑risk industries such as i
Gaming and FX, as well as selected low‑ and medium‑risk segments. This role manages the entire sales cycle, from rapid qualification of inbound leads and targeted outbound outreach to developing tailored proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, list building, emailing, and social media outreach.
- Qualify outbound leads to determine their fit and potential as sales opportunities.
- Conduct outreach activities through networking and events.
- Manage and spearhead deals, autonomously coordinating with relevant departments required for deal closure—product, legal, and research.
- Drive sales of crypto payment solutions via inbound leads, outbound outreach, and referral partnerships to high‑risk verticals including i
Gaming, Forex, and Crypto Exchanges. - Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and activities in the CRM system.
- Maintain a robust and accurate pipeline, regularly updating forecasts and activity reports.
- Work closely with internal teams, including compliance, marketing, and product departments, to align client expectations and deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate actively in team meetings, providing valuable market feedback and sharing best practices.
Ideal Candidate
- 3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development within the payments space.
- Experience in a quota‑driven, full‑cycle Sales Manager, Account Executive, or Business Development role.
- Experience selling payment solutions to high‑risk merchants (e. g. , i
Gaming providers, operators, FX platforms). Knowledge of payment needs, flows, and challenges within the i
Gaming space is preferred. - Previous experience working with PSPs, EMIs, payment aggregators/gateways, or crypto processors is considered a strong advantage.
- Ability to work with low‑, medium‑, and high‑risk merchants across various industries, understanding their specific payment needs and risk profiles.
- Experience with inbound lead handling, outbound prospecting and referral‑driven sales.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Russian; the role involves communication with international clients.
