About The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and
- on Business Developer to grow our Financial Services industry. This person should have a strong background in data &analytics and be confident in opening new doors - not just managing existing relationships. If you enjoy solving real client problems with data and technology (and don’t care for buzzwords), we want to hear from you.
As a part of your job, you will:
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with relevant stakeholders in the Financial Services industry, serving as the dedicated Celfocus point of contact;
- Identify and close new business opportunities in the Banking and Financial Services sector, aligning internally for optimal results;
- Assume the strategic responsibility of identifying and securing new business opportunities within the Iberian financial services industry, leveraging Celfocus expertise, with a special focus on Data &Analytics;
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices within the Financial Services sector and their IT implications or opportunities;
- Contribute to Celfocus technical roadmap and innovation initiatives,
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, finance, economics, marketing, or related field;
- 7+ years of experience in business development, or a related role, with a strong preference for experience generating business development activities in Data & Analytics with in the Financial Services Sector;
- In-depth understanding of the consulting industry, particularly as it relates to the Financial Services sector;
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders in both Celfocus and partner organisations within the Financial Services ecosystem;
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally across different Celfocus teams (especially the Business Lines management and
- sales teams) and externally with Financial Services-focused partners; - Proven track record of successfully generating new business opportunities within the Financial Services sector and the Data &Analytics market;
- Strong analytical and
- solving skills, with the ability to understand the complexities of the Financial Services industry and identify mutually beneficial partnership opportunities.
- Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams, and Clients;
- Teamwork skills but also a sense of autonomy;
- Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included;
- Willingness to collaborate with other players;
- Strong communication skills.
