Business Development Representative - German Speaking

We are looking for a talented sales professional to join our EMEA Sales Development team at Zendesk. The candidate will drive new business for Zendesk’s suite of customer support products throughout Germany, leveraging outbound prospecting, pipeline development, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Be a key team member driving new business and delivering on regional strategy.
• Manage a busy outbound pipeline of leads and deliver top‑class customer experience.
• Prospect into cold accounts and new groups/divisions within existing Zendesk customers.
• Generate high‑value pipeline through strategic and targeted prospecting of start‑ups, unicorns, and enterprise businesses.
• Source new leads using social tools and creative outreach.
• Overachieve on targets and metrics, acting as the face of the brand and building outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Native German speaker, fluent in English (written & spoken).
• Fluency in Polish or another CEE language is a strong plus.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a sales‑related environment.
• Passion to start or continue a career in consultative sales.
• Business experience with Saa
  S sales preferred; customer‑centric and curious.
• “Can‑Do” attitude with self‑starter commitment to overachieve.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
• Availability for a hybrid model: Lisbon office and remote work.
