Business Development Representative
Join Zendesk as a Business Development Representative. This role drives new business for the EMEA sales organization, accelerating your career while contributing to the growth of the world’s leading customer support platform.
Responsibilities
- Be a key team member of the sales team, driving new business and delivering on the strategy for the region.
- Run a busy outbound pipeline of leads and provide a top‑class customer experience.
- Use innovative prospecting into cold accounts, new customer groups and divisions of existing Zendesk customers.
- Generate high‑value pipeline through strategic and targeted prospecting into start‑ups, unicorns and enterprise businesses.
- Source new leads using social tools and creative outreach, ensuring a fresh and proactive approach.
- Be motivated to over‑achieve on targets and metrics.
- Act as the brand’s face, 100% focused on building an outstanding customer experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a sales‑related environment.
- Passion to kick‑start or continue a career in consultative sales.
- Solid business experience (Saa
S sales preferred); curious and customer‑centric. - “Can do” / “Winner” attitude with a hunger for self‑starting and over‑achieving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
- Fluency in English.
- Availability to work weekly in a hybrid model: Lisbon office and remote.
Hybrid Working Model

Attendance at the local office will be required for part of the week, with the specific schedule determined by the hiring manager.
