The SMB sales team (small & medium FMCG Businesses) plays a key role in NIQ’s growth strategy. Focused on accelerating organic growth, the SMB Sales executive generates
- cycle revenue opportunities by contacting leads & prospects, growing business within the existing client portfolio, and contributing to
- cycle revenue processes to win key prospects not currently working with NIQ for their insights based on trended sales data.
Responsibilities
- Own, meet, and surpass individual revenue targets (Forecast and report on targets and budgets).
- Target new clients through various channels and expand business within the existing client portfolio, prioritizing client visits based on sales potential and building a sustainable external network.
- Identify upselling opportunities by creating leads for international retail measurement data and more advanced/customized NIQ services, transforming
- hoc relationships into continuous partnerships. - Execute the

- end sales process, including feasibility analysis, pricing, negotiating terms, writing proposals, and closing sales. - Monitor progress against revenue targets and adjust strategies promptly using CRM tools.
- Creatively utilize organizational tools to generate leads and expand your internal network.
- Develop pragmatic engagement plans for key prospects and clients.
- Ensure all sales materials, including proposals and demos, are consistent and
- leading. - Initiate and drive projects to bring new product/market combinations to market.
- Collaborate with other NIQ departments to ensure alignment and

Candidate Profile
Are you a
- energy
- starter, curious, passionate about sales, growth,
- building, and new business opportunities? Do you aim to contribute significantly to the SMB team’s results?
- Good understanding of the BE FMCG business dynamics.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience, preferably in Market Research or FMCG Trade/Category management.
- Knowledge of retail tracking business services.
- Skilled in driving client interest and new business through creative proposals and solutions, ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Ability to connect easily with clients and maintain a strong network.
- Results-oriented with both
- term and
- term focus. - Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different styles.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (based in Lisbon).
- Available to start from June 2025.
