About the Role
ARC International Design Consultants is seeking a
- oriented and proactive Business Development Support Specialist to join our Lisbon office. This role plays a key part in supporting the company’s growth by managing and coordinating prequalification and vendor registration processes, maintaining client databases, and ensuring compliance with submission standards. Working closely with senior management and technical teams, the specialist will help position the company for new project opportunities across EMEA.
Key Responsibility Areas
1. Client and Database Management
- Establish and maintain an

- date client and customer relations database. - Develop and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to support
- term business growth.
2. Prequalification Coordination
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of prequalification submissions for public and private sector projects.
- Facilitate the internal review and completion of prequalification questionnaires, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Submit and manage responses to registration and prequalification requests from clients.
- Maintain an organized system for company prequalification data and documentation.
3. Vendor Registration and Compliance
- Manage and execute the vendor registration process for key platforms and clients.
- Keep the company’s prequalified vendor list current and aligned with client requirements.

- related information is up to date and accessible.
4. Platform and Portal Management
- Handle online client platforms such as SAP Ariba, Aconex, and other digital tender portals.
- Manage company profiles and submissions through the CRM portal for key clients.
5. Internal Coordination and Support
- Collaborate closely with the tender department to provide technical and administrative support.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior management and design teams, to gather and verify required information for submissions.
Who we're seeking - Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in a business development or prequalification support role, preferably within the architecture, engineering, or construction sectors.
- Understanding of vendor registration and tender prequalification processes.
- Knowledge of client portals such as SAP Ariba, Aconex, and CRM systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and departments.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a
- paced environment. - Fluency in English;
proficiency in Portuguese or other languages is a plus
