We are looking for a Business Manager (Long Leave Cover) for our GBS! Airframe Services (SR) is a Business Line within Airbus Customer Services, focusing on chargeable optional modifications and embodiment services for in‑service aircraft. As the jobholder, you will join the Lifecycle and Fleet Technical Management Programme Team (SRA) in the Airframe Services organization and assist in managing the business and financial performance of the business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Programme Operating Plan, forecast, and updates with key stakeholders.
- Contribute to budget & costs management at Programme level and support detailed cost tracking; serve as the Programme focal point to Finance for all financial‑controlling activities.
- Programme resource planning and management to support the business plan and growth, including workload/workforce assessment.
- Pilot improvement projects in the Programme organization; lead projects that require transversal coordination across the internal organization.
- Set up, maintain, and coordinate Programme governance (particularly the monthly Project Review).
- Manage Risks & Opportunities: prepare Quarterly R&O sessions, update the Airbus risk database (ARM).
- Measure business performance via collection, consolidation, and synthesis of performance indicators.
- Manage performance through stakeholder exchange on performance data, root‑cause analysis, and recommendations to enable decision‑making.
- Identify/define improvement projects to reach targeted performance.
Requirements
- Curious, adaptive, team player, and open‑minded – with the ability to interact with many stakeholders.
- Financial Analyst with SAP knowledge and skills.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English at a negotiation level.
- Ability to synthesize key points and create leadership presentation supports.
- Reliable and accurate, with a high level of standard of expectations.
- Awareness of the aviation environment and OEM positioning desirable.
