Job Description
We are looking for someone who can quickly engage in renewing and improving existing business processes through several phases, such as documenting and reviewing the current processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas for improvement. You will have the chance to utilize your problem‑solving and communication skills, as well as think outside the box. In this role, you will gain extensive knowledge of the organizational structure, end‑to‑end business processes, and the corresponding Business Operating Systems.
Position: Internship
Duration: 12 months
Start Date (tentative): December 2025
Location: Hybrid in Amadora, Portugal
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Update the existing Business Processes Map, ensuring all corresponding inputs and outputs are accurately reflected.
- Refresh the Business and Operation Software Systems (B/OSS) and database maps, performing gap analysis and proposing solutions to close major gaps and boost quality and productivity.
- Identify opportunities for automation and AI‑enabled process optimization to eliminate manual tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce errors.
- Handle and synthesize large, unstructured datasets to develop forward‑looking proposals that enhance productivity and work quality.
- Collaborate with the team to research and evaluate modern automation and AI tools for potential implementation.
Key Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s in Data Science, Business Administration, or a similar field (master’s degree preferred)
- Knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel and Power
Point mainly) - Fluency in English
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Objective thinking and problem‑solving abilities
- Self‑motivation and ability to work proactively without constant supervision
Nice to Have
- Contact with MS Power BI
- Experience in Flowcharts/diagrams drawing (Visio, MS Power
Point)
