We are in search of a Buyer to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring operational continuity, optimizing costs, enhancing supply chain efficiency, supporting business growth, and driving compliance through strategic procurement and supplier management.

This is a hybrid position, ideally based in Portugal but also open to our office in Paris.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee the sourcing and purchasing of tools, vehicles, spare parts and service suppliers required for Deployment & Maintenance operations for multiple countries;
• Lead RFP processes, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) meet company requirements ;
• Manage purchasing and contractual agreements for warehouse facilities and ensure a reliable supply of essential parts and equipment ;
• Identify
  - saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards, optimizing supplier terms, and evaluating alternative sourcing options ;
• Ensure timely acquisition and maintenance of company vehicles to support field operations ;
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements ;
• Work closely with operations, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement strategies with business needs ;
• Track supplier performance and procurement metrics to drive continuous improvement in sourcing and cost efficiency.
  
  

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role, preferably in a technical, logistics, or industrial environment;
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills;
• Experience with RFP processes, vendor selection, and supplier relationship management;
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, cost analysis, and logistics;
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Excellent organizational and
  - solving skills;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  
  

It Would Be Great If You Would Also Have

• Previous experience in a
  - up or
  - growing environment;
• Familiarity with deployment and maintenance operations in the industrial sector;
• Experience evaluating supplier performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating risks in the supply chain.
