• TALENT, through which we provide our clients with an extension to their IT teams;

• DECSKILL CONNECT through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.

We are looking for a C++ Developer to join us in Porto (3 times a week in the office).

Responsibilities:

• The role involves developing, maintaining, and improving core application components, primarily in C++.
• The developer will work independently, organise work using JIRA, manage source control, and ensure
  - quality,
  - tested code.
• Close collaboration with stakeholders is required to understand business needs and translate them into clear technical tasks and release plans.
• Strong communication skills and disciplined development practices are essential.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience with C++;
  
  
• Strong experience in scripting in Python and Shell
• Proficient with source control tools such as Git
• Experience with JIRA and task management
• Ability to translate business needs into technical tasks
• Solid application management and workflow ownership
• Commitment to clean code, testing, and stable releases
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• - Familiarity with financial or
  - reliability systems (plus)
