WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Design and develop new software components, enhance existing software, and fix bugs. Projects typically include specifications provided by Business Analysts.
• Before major releases, fix regression bugs, maintain automated regression tests, and perform regression testing of assigned system areas.
• Maintain systems through bug fixing,
  - day technical support, and overnight 3rd line support. Research and develop solutions to improve Apex delivery capabilities.
• Support and guide junior team members, review code, JIRAs, and change requests to ensure quality.
• Own the functionality developed in your assigned projects and proactively address issues in production.
• Provide
  - up and support for system production activities assigned to APS teams.
• Proficient in C++ with at least 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of C++11/17, STL, Boost, XML, JSON.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with
  - tier,
  - process
  - server architectures.
• Experience developing trading systems and components.
• Extensive experience with
  - threaded development.
• Knowledge of MQ messaging and TCP/IP.
