About the Client

We are supporting one of our clients, a leading international financial institution , in reinforcing its technology teams. Operating as a global hub, the teams deliver advanced IT solutions and trading platforms that are critical to the bank’s business success across global markets.

The Role

As a Senior C++ Developer , you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimisation of
- performance financial applications. You will be working in a front-office environment , collaborating closely with trading and quantitative teams to build and maintain robust,
- latency systems.

Your contribution will be essential to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of
- critical applications within a demanding and
- paced financial services context.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications .
• Contribute to the modernisation of existing systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and business analysts to deliver effective technology solutions.
• Apply Python where relevant for automation, tooling, and data analysis.
• Optimise code for performance, scalability, and low latency.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in software engineering, testing, and documentation.

Key Skills & Experience

Must-have:

• Proven experience as a C++ Developer in complex,
  - scale systems.
• A background in Financial Services / Banking (front-office or trading systems experience) is highly valued.
• Proficiency in Python as a complementary programming language.
• Strong understanding of performance optimisation and multithreaded applications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced,
  - driven environment .
• Excellent
  - solving and communication skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field .

Nice-to-have:

• Previous experience working directly with traders or quantitative teams .
• Knowledge of market connectivity, pricing engines, or risk systems.
• Exposure to other programming languages (Java, C#).
