Job Description:

• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and desired outcomes.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations based on clients' hair type, face shape, and lifestyle.
• Communicate effectively with clients throughout the service to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations.
• Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, and grooming techniques, including but not limited to, trimming, shaping, layering, and texturizing.
• Stay updated on current trends and techniques in hairdressing/barbering to offer innovative and fashionable services.
• Utilize appropriate tools and products to achieve desired results while maintaining the health and integrity of clients' hair.
• Proficiently apply hair coloring, highlighting, and other chemical treatments based on clients' preferences and hair condition.
• Ensure accurate mixing and application of color products to achieve desired shades and tones.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to minimize the risk of adverse reactions or damage to clients' hair and scalp.
• Build strong rapport and trust with clients through attentive service, personalized recommendations, and genuine interactions.
• Maintain detailed records of clients' preferences, service history, and product usage to provide consistent and customized experiences.
• Proactively follow up with clients to schedule future appointments and promote salon services and products.
• Adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of tools, equipment, and workstations.
• Maintain a tidy and organized work area, including proper disposal of hair clippings and used materials.
• Comply with salon policies and regulations related to health and safety practices.
• Continuously expand knowledge and skills through ongoing training, workshops, and industry events.
• Stay informed about new products, techniques, and trends in hairdressing/barbering to enhance service offerings and stay competitive in the market.
• Collaborate with colleagues and mentors to exchange ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and foster a culture of learning and growth within the salon.

Requirements:

• Previous experience (3- 5 years);
  
  
• Valid certification or diploma from a recognized hairdressing/barbering school or vocational training program;
  
  
• Theoretical knowledge and practical skills to perform hairdressing/barbering services competently and safely.

Language Skills:

• Good communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
