The Role and Candidate Profile:
Glanua Ltd is a progressive organisation in water and wastewater services. Due to continued success in the Irish Business, the company is expanding with several dynamic and exciting roles. They are looking to recruit a CAD/Revit Technician to work on
- scale water and waste water infrastructure projects. This will be an
- based role in our Lisbon Office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The main duties and responsibilities of the CAD Technician are outlined as follows:
- Manage the production of
- discipline coordinated models, drawings and schedules. - Align design development with the project BIM execution plan–which would include regular coordination and model checks and sharing of model data throughout the design team.
- Liaising between Mechanical & Electrical Designers and Civil & Structural Designers
- Production and maintenance of MIDP throughout the project.
- Participation in drawing/design reviews and facilitation of feasibility studies.
- Liaising with project teams to ascertain project needs and timelines for same.
- Taking instructions from Engineers and producing drawings with limited supervision or direction
- Use initiative and knowledge to support the CAD team and grow expertise in the use of CAD software and other tools
- Work as part of a team in delivering one or more projects at any one time, embracing the ethos of a "one team" culture.
Knowledge Skill and Experience:
The prior know ledge, skills and experience required of the CAD Technician are outlined as follows:
- 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or Strong trades background coupled with a BIM qualification.
- A minimum of 3+years'experience with in a BIM Co-ordination function.
- Mechanical or Electrical background and have a proven track record in a similar role.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to short deadlines.
