As a CAPEX Specialist , you will play a key role in managing capital procurement activities and ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards across various investment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

CAPEX Procurement

• Lead procurement activities related to capital investments, aligning with project budgets and timelines.
• Define and execute sourcing strategies for equipment, installations, and services tied to capital projects.
• Conduct
  - benefit and ROI analyses to support project investment decisions.

Project Support & Coordination

• Collaborate with project teams to align procurement milestones with project planning.
• Monitor procurement deliverables and support the coordination of supplier activities within the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential risks in procurement schedules and contribute to mitigation plans.

Budget & Cost Control

• Track and manage CAPEX procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Drive cost optimization through negotiation and value engineering initiatives.

Supplier & Contract Management

• Lead RFQ/RFP processes and evaluate suppliers against project and technical requirements.
• Negotiate contract terms, manage compliance, and monitor supplier performance.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure CAPEX procurement complies with internal and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and contribute to project audits.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in CAPEX procurement, ideally within an industrial or technical environment.
• Familiarity with
  - based procurement and capital project coordination.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is an asset.

Location: Full Remote, Portugal.
